Ertz Family Foundation Holds 2nd Annual Winter Giving Event in North Philadelphia

On Saturday, December 18th we handed out over 600 new coats, gloves, hats, clothing, and food to our House of Hope community in Hunting Park at our 2nd Annual Winter Giving Event. What a gift it was for us to be able to bless our North Philadelphia family like this right before Christmas. ⁣

We are so grateful to see the amount joy on everyone’s faces—and to know that we are JUST GETTING STARTED in our new neighborhood with the House of Hope. Demolition begins this week, construction at the start of 2022, and our ability to serve so many with a safe space, services, and resources is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER thanks to SO MANY generous donors and sponsors. ⁣

SO many thanks to our incredible Philly Bridge Project Partners: Grace and Peace Community Fellowship, Sunday Love Project, Operation Warm Coats For Kids, WSFS Bank CARES Foundation, and generous donors: Ross Dress For Less, Boscovs, and Dicks Sporting Goods. ⁣

Our deepest thanks to ALL the AMAZING volunteers too! We could never do this without the tireless support from over 100 volunteers from Drexel Medical School, WSFS CARES, Timoteo and Grace and Peace Community Fellowship !! You all warmed our hearts and made this special day all possible. This community inspires us to build what we all know is possible there—a place of HOPE!
