Cleats For A Cause

By December 10, 2018 No Comments

Last Monday, Zach Ertz broke a long-standing Philadelphia Eagles record. Now Zach is giving fans a chance to own a piece of that record with proceeds benefitting the Ertz Family Foundation.

Zach is auctioning off the special Ertz Family Foundation 1 John 4:19 cleats he was wearing last Monday night when he broke the Philadelphia Eagles record for receptions in a single season, previously held by Eagles all-time great running back Brian Westbrook.

The cleats were designed especially for Zach, as part of the NFL’s My Cleats My Cause week.

My Cleats My Cause is a way for players to support the charitable organizations that they care most about. Each participating player is provided with a self-directed, custom-designed pair of cleats that they wear during Week 13 of the NFL season to promote awareness of various causes, in addition to raising funds for their favorite charity organization.

That alone make the cleats special, but the fact that Zach broke the longstanding Eagles record while wearing them makes these cleats a unique piece of Eagles and NFL history.

With that in mind, and to help raise funds for the Ertz Family Foundation that supports programs focusing on youth sports, education and family enrichment, Zach is auctioning his My Cleats My Cause shoes for 10 days starting on Monday, December 10, 2018 – Thursday, December 20, 2018.

To participate, please create an account and begin bidding, it’s that simple! The winning bidder will be notified via the GiveSmart platform and the cleats will be mailed upon receipt of payment. Any questions regarding the auction should be directed to info@ertzfamilyfoundation.org.
